Fun & Educational Field Trips
School and home school groups of 20 or more people are invited to take a teacher-led field trip to Mayfield Farm Park to learn all about our mascot, the Jersey Cow! Learn about the milking process, equipment used, pasteurization process, and history of Jersey Cows on Mayfield Farm. You’ll even get to try your hand at milking a mechanical cow! After you are done with the milking exhibit, take a fun hay ride and walk through our corn maze. Bring your own sack lunch or purchase lunch from our Concessions to eat under our covered seating areas, and after, you can enjoy our 40+ farm activities! We offer school and home school field trips on Thursdays and Fridays from September 28, 2023 – November 3, 2023 from 9am – 1pm.

Lunch is not included and can be purchased separately at Concessions. Sack lunches are welcome. Optional pumpkins are $2 per student for the perfect take-home gift. Activities not included in the pricing are the Cow Train and food to feed the goats. For Home School groups, we offer one parent free to count as the teacher.
Reserve Your Field Trip Now
We offer school and home school field trips on Thursdays and Fridays from September 28, 2023 – November 3, 2023 from 9am – 1pm. Field trips are by reservation only and are offered on a first come, first serve basis. To ensure a fun and safe experience for students and teachers, we limit the number of people on our farm at a given time. Please allow our staff 24-48 hours to confirm your preferred field trip date and send you a final confirmation email before planning your time with us. To be eligible for the field trip pricing, groups must be 20 or more people, ages 3 and older. Full payment must be made in one transaction, and parents must pay at the gate. For home school groups, please have a minimum of 20 people; we offer one parent free to count as the teacher. Activities priced separately are the Cow Train and food to feed the goats. Pumpkins are $2 per student for the perfect take-home gift.
